We wish to build a standardized, vegetarian restaurant on or near the temple premises. The land would be provided by the temple. The architectural design and detailed drawings will be provided by USHA. The builder will set up the restaurant and be willing to pay a monthly rental. The details of the vegetarian restaurant are as follows:
There will be between 24 and 48 seats (multiple of 6) in each location. Each table will have 6 chairs, 3 on each side. Standard furniture (table and chair) will be provided by USHA at cost. Plates and cutlery will be provided by USHA at cost. A vending machine will be provided by USHA at cost.
Where feasible, solar energy would be used for heating water. The menu would be standard, although the pricing could be based on the location. There will be a section dedicated to each of the following (in alphabetical order): Fresh fruits, locally sourced; A2B Adyar Ananda Bhavan products, “Dabur” range of products, “Haldiram” products, “Himalaya” range of products, “MTR” products, “Patanjali” range of products, “Tasty Bites” range of products. The restaurant will also be offering “ready-to-cook” products from approved sources. The restaurant will have a bakery section with a wide range of cakes, croissants, buns, breads, biscuits etc.
The restaurant will be built with iconic features. The restaurant will also earn from Group events at the temple like marriages & birthdays, Party events at the temple (to coincide with festivals), Serving food at customer locations, Providing packed food for companies or groups, Offering cooking classes to interested parties etc.
